Clinique UK Smart Rewards Loyalty Program FAQs
Clinique Smart Rewards is a loyalty program that rewards customers for purchasing Clinique products and participating in pre-defined brand experiences on clinique.co.uk. It is a tier-based program determined by the number of points a member has earned within a single year on eligible purchases and through qualifying activities, beginning on the date when you enroll. There are 3 tiers with associated benefits:
- Tier 1, Smart 0 – 75 points
- Tier 2, Brilliant 76 – 200 points
- Tier 3, Genius 201+ points
When you join, you’ll automatically be placed in Tier 1, Smart and be eligible for all the benefits Smart members receive. Once you earn at least 76 points in your first year, you’ll be automatically moved up to Tier 2, Brilliant. If you earn 201 points or more in your first year, you’ll qualify for Tier 3, Genius.
Your status in a particular tier is good for the remainder of the year in which you first qualify for that tier and for the following full year. After that, you’ll need to earn enough points to qualify for a particular tier. For example, if you qualify for Tier 2, Brilliant, in your first year, you’ll will move from Tier 1, Smart to Tier 2, Brilliant for the remainder of your first year and will retain Tier 2, Brilliant status during your entire second year. But, if you earn less than 76 points on eligible purchases during your second year, you’ll drop back down to Tier 1, Smart status on your second anniversary date.
The higher the tier, the better the benefits.
Points Benefits: At different point levels, you will be able to redeem your points for rewards that can be used in conjunction with a purchase on clinique.co.uk. These rewards are based on the total number of points you have accumulated in a single year as listed below. You may redeem one reward per transaction on clinique.co.uk. You must redeem your available points prior to your anniversary date, or the available rewards will expire. On your anniversary date, your points reset to 0 and you start accumulating new points and earning new rewards.
- Free deluxe sample with purchase (valid at 50 points)
- Free full-size product with purchase (valid at 100 points)
- Free full-size Gift With Purchase product assortment with purchase (valid at 300 points)
Tier Benefits: Certain benefits are based on tier achieved and you are eligible for these benefits while you are in that tier regardless of the number of points you currently have. Tier benefits can only be redeemed on clinique.co.uk with the exception of exclusive invitations to in-store member events and VIP events or as otherwise noted. On your anniversary date, even though your points reset to zero, your initial tier status for the year is determined by the total number of points you earned in the prior year.

- Free Next Day Delivery (to addresses in the UK, with a purchase on the Site)

Currently, Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program is only for online purchases and does not allow members to receive points or benefits from purchases made at department stores, specialty stores or retail stores – even if they are stores owned by us. Purchases made outside of the United Kingdom are also not eligible for Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program. If this changes, we will update our Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation and inform you accordingly.
In addition to these purchases, here are more ways to earn points at clinique.co.uk**:
- Earn points for enrolling in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program (one time only).
- Earn points for completing the Foundation Finder (one time only).
*All points are pending until your order ships, at which time they are fully matured.
**To earn points, please check to make sure you are a Clinique Smart Rewards member and you have logged into your account before completing the actions above. The number of points, if any, awarded for each action is determined by Clinique in its sole but reasonable discretion and in all cases subject to a maximum number of points earned for each action per year.
Points are valid for one year from your Clinique Smart Rewards “anniversary date” (this is the anniversary of the date you enrolled in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program). On your anniversary date each year, your available points expire and reset to zero and you start accumulating new points to redeem for new rewards.
On your anniversary date, even though your points reset to zero, your tier status is determined by the number of points accumulated in the immediately preceding year.
Your points may have also disappeared if we have excluded you from or discontinued your participation in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program. Please see the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation or contact Customer Service here.
Your anniversary date is shown in your Clinique Smart Rewards account page.
If it is found that an order is obtained through fraudulent or other activity that violates the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation, those accumulated points and your change in tier status, if applicable, will also be reversed.
Rewards can only be redeemed when making a purchase on clinique.co.uk except for invitations to special online events, in-store member events, and VIP member events. You must be logged in to your Clinique Smart Rewards account to use your benefits.
Offers and rewards are available while supplies last and substitutions made by us in our sole discretion may occur. If your online order is not completed for any reason, any offers or rewards will be removed from your shopping basket and may no longer be available. You are not required to redeem points. We are unable to reship offers or rewards if they arrive damaged, if you received the wrong one or if one is missing from your order. In the event an offer or reward arrives damaged, you received the wrong one, or one is missing from your order, please contact Customer Service here.
At certain point levels (100 points and 300 points), you are eligible to select a Free Full-Size product points benefit (in addition to any other tier benefits) from the assortment determined by us with a purchase on clinique.co.uk. To redeem your points, log into your Clinique Smart Rewards account and choose one of the eligible products on your account page and add it to your bag. If you do not redeem your available points before your anniversary date, your points will expire. Product rewards are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged or returned for points, another product or a monetary refund.
- Standard delivery to addresses in the UK is complimentary for all Clinique Smart Rewards members. You must select “Free Standard Delivery 2-5 days" at checkout and be logged into your Clinique Smart Rewards account.
- Free Next Day and/or Saturday Delivery to addresses in the UK is complimentary for Clinique Smart Rewards members in Tier 3, Genius only. You must select “Free Next Day Delivery” at checkout and be logged into your Clinique Smart Rewards account.
- Tier 2, Brilliant members are eligible for a one-time complimentary use of Free Next Day and/or Saturday Delivery to addresses in the UK with a purchase on clinique.co.uk.You can unlock this reward by logging into your Clinique Smart Rewards account online. To receive it, choose “Redeem Next Day Shipping” on your Clinique Smart Rewards account page and add it to your bag. If not used before your anniversary date, this offer will expire.
Tier benefits are valid for as long as you are in a specific tier. If you move down a tier, your benefits change accordingly.
On your anniversary date each year your points reset to zero, and you can start earning points benefits again. While your points reset each year on your anniversary date, your tier status is determined by the number of points you earned during the prior year of membership, regardless of how many points you redeemed. Your status in a particular tier is good for the year in which you qualify for that tier and the following full year. After that, you’ll need to earn enough points to qualify for that tier each year thereafter. For example, if you qualify for Tier 2, Brilliant, during your first year, you’ll maintain Brilliant status during your second year. But, if you earn less than 76 points on eligible purchases during your second year, you’ll drop back down to Tier 1, Smart status at the onset of your third year.
To keep your account active you must log in to your Clinique Smart Rewards account and make a purchase within 24 months. Membership will expire if a member is inactive for a period of 24 months or more.
We also reserve the right to exclude you from or discontinue your participation in the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program. Please see the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, we may, in our sole discretion, cancel, modify, restrict or terminate the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program or any aspect or feature of this loyalty program at any time by updating the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation., even though such changes may affect the value of points and benefits already accumulated or earned and/or the ability to redeem accumulated points and benefits. If the Program is terminated, your rewards, benefits and/or points will automatically expire on the effective date of the termination of the Program and can no longer be used after that date. We also reserve the right to exclude you from or discontinue your participation in Clinique Smart Rewards for any or no reason. You may cancel your membership in Clinique Smart Rewards Program at any time. Simply log in to your account and click on "cancel membership" to terminate your membership, or contact Customer Service here. If you cancel your membership, you will automatically lose all accumulated points, benefits and tier status and no longer receive Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program emails.
Clinique in its sole but reasonable discretion, can terminate any member for any reason including, but not limited to, any failure to comply with the Clinique Smart Rewards: Terms and Conditions of Participation. and/or our website Terms and Conditions or any inappropriate, misleading or abusive behavior.
If you decide you no longer want to be a part of the Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty Program, you may cancel your membership by logging in to your account on the Site and clicking on "cancel membership" to terminate your membership, or by contacting Customer Service here. If you cancel your membership, you will automatically lose all accumulated points, benefits and tier status and no longer receive Program related emails.

You have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of the personal data we maintain about you, or to request the restriction of our use of this information, as appropriate from your account or by contacting Customer Service here. No. Neither accounts nor Clinique Smart Rewards points and benefits may be transferred, shared or combined. Only the member paying for the products may accumulate points and benefits. We reserve the right to monitor the number of accounts per household and refuse, merge or close additional or duplicate accounts at any time. Your account information (including security details) are confidential and should not be shared with any other person.
We will only send you marketing emails where you have consented to receiving them and have not opted out of receiving them. If you have consented, you can opt out of receiving Clinique marketing emails or Clinique Smart Rewards Loyalty marketing emails at any time by (i) clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email communication, or (ii) by contacting Customer Service here.
